South Aurora Magazine Article
Guidelines
Interested in writing an article for
South Aurora Magazine? Great!
Anyone can submit an article for
consideration. There are four basic rules that must be followed
when writing your article. Your article CANNOT be:
- Offensive
- Defamatory
- Pornographic
- Overtly self serving
Our readers enjoy articles that are
fun, entertaining and informative. We are not a newspaper and
are not looking for hard news or standard press releases so please
don't submit either.
Articles submitted to us should be concerned with the "Why"
and "How" not so much the "Who, What, When and
Where".
If you have a good idea for an
article or would like to share a story, then please feel free to do
so. Articles should be between 200 and 300 words (a little
more, a little less is OK) and should have a relationship to our local
community or have a great topic.
Once you've written your article, be
sure and proof read it for grammar and spelling errors. It also
helps to have several friends look it over and give you input on your
article. If other people find it enjoyable, we probably will
too.
We keep all submitted articles on
file for future consideration, so you will only need to submit an
article once. Also, we do not compensate for any unsolicited
article so please keep that in mind when submitting your work.
